The weather of north China is quite different  from that in the north ,  when it's snowing in Northeast , flowers are blooming in Hainan,   and in places like Hohhot, the temperature changes drastically in the 

course of single day 

so ,we have heard a saying like this :

fur coat in the early morning 

A silk short at noon

sitting by fire 

eating a water-melon

it sounds funny , doesn't  it ,  the best place in china is Kunming , the weather there is mild all the 

year round
